The BEST Homemade Caesar Dressing

Description

This is BY FAR the BEST Caesar Salad Dressing I’ve ever had. There is no comparison between any bottled dressing and this one. And I’ve tried most of the Caesar dressings out there.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano (or just regular parmesan if that’s all you have)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 canned anchovy filets (finely chopped)
  • 2 Tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 black pepper (freshly ground if you can)

Instructions

  1. Place 1 cup mayo in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Add the 1/2 cup Parmigiano cheese and all other ingredients.
  3. Whisk together until well blended.

That’s it!

Keep in a cute mason jar or other container in fridge for as long as your mayo is good, or about 2 weeks.

Notes

*You can use 1 tsp. anchovy paste in place of the filets. I like anchovies and I think the canned filets give the dressing a really great Caesar flavor. If its too much for your kiddos, cut the amount or leave out the anchovies altogether.
