Lots of delicious recipes call for buttermilk, and I don’t know about you, but I rarely buy it at the store. I just forget, or if I do buy it, I use half a cup or 1 cup in recipe and the rest is found as a clumpy smelly mess a month later! With this recipe, you can have creamy tangy buttermilk anytime you need it for some Zesty Homemade Ranch or Pork Rind Buttermilk Chicken Fingers, or anything else!
It only has 2 ingredients: milk and an acid like vinegar (my favorite), lemon juice or cream of tartar. Mix together, let sit for 10 minutes and you’re ready to make those Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes.

Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk (1% or 2% is fine but will just be less thick)
- 1 Tablespoon Vinegar or Lemon Juice
Instructions
Mix together! That’s it! Let sit for 10 minutes before using.
